Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk | 3 Cups |
¼ Cup | |
Sugar | 2 Tbsp. |
Vanilla Extract | 1 Tsp. |
Kosher Salt | 1 Pinch |
Chocolate Shaving | Optional |
Whipped Cream | Optional |
Steps:
- First, take a small saucepan and heat the almond milk over medium-high heat. In about 5 minutes, stop and remove the saucepan from the heat when the milk is nice and hot and starting to steam.
- Next, whisk in the vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips, and continue to whisk until you notice that the chocolate is completely melted.
- And finally, take three mugs and pour the hot cocoa in each. Top each mug with a squirt of whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings if desired. And there you go your delicious hot drink is ready for you to curl up on your warm couch.
