Hot Almocoa (Almond Cocoa)          

Christmas holidays are here again. And the winter weather with snow makes that Christmas even more magical and special. But while you are curled up on your couch you waiting for your beloved Christmas in this cold winter weather, try out this hot cup of almond cocoa.

And to make it, a guilt free experience, try this recipe where it has almost half the calories of a normal cup of hot cocoa.

This recipe is good for Celiac Disease, PMS, Bone Health, Skin, Heart Health, Type 2 Diabetes and Teeth

Preparation time:


Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk 3 Cups
Semi Sweet Dark Chocolate chips ¼ Cup
Sugar 2 Tbsp.
Vanilla Extract 1 Tsp.
Kosher Salt 1 Pinch
Chocolate Shaving Optional
Whipped Cream Optional


  1. First, take a small saucepan and heat the almond milk over medium-high heat. In about 5 minutes, stop and remove the saucepan from the heat when the milk is nice and hot and starting to steam.
  2. Next, whisk in the vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips, and continue to whisk until you notice that the chocolate is completely melted.
  3. And finally, take three mugs and pour the hot cocoa in each. Top each mug with a squirt of whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings if desired. And there you go your delicious hot drink is ready for you to curl up on your warm couch.
